β¨ Support Howard’s Class of 2030 β¨
Right now, Howard University’s incoming Class of 2030 is navigating an incredibly difficult and uncertain moment.
Recently, 502 incoming students were unenrolled from Howard University for financial reasons. Since then, many students have shared that they believe they were unenrolled in error, creating confusion and uncertainty for hundreds of incoming Bison and their families.
While several students have since been re-enrolled, many members of HU30 are still searching for answers and support.
This page was created to bring together verified resources in one place so students, alumni, parents, and supporters can quickly find the information they need.
π° Tuition Assistance for Incoming Bison π°
Many students who were re-enrolled are still working to satisfy outstanding tuition balances or payment plan requirements.
To help, Jade Serieux has organized a GoFundMe scholarship fund dedicated to supporting members of Howard University’s Class of 2030.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing the campaign.
π Housing Resources π
Some students have successfully been re-enrolled but are now without a Howard University housing assignment.
To help make this transition a little easier, we’ve compiled a list of apartments, housing options, and other resources located near Howard’s campus.
This list is continuously being updated, so be sure to check back regularly for new additions.
π Colleges Still Accepting Applications π
For students who unfortunately will not be returning to Howard this fall but still want to continue their education this semester, there are still options.
We’ve created a resource guide featuring HBCUs and other colleges and universities that currently have:
Rolling admissions
Open admissions
Transfer opportunities
Special consideration for displaced Howard students
Our hope is simple: if one door closes, another can still open.
π€πΎ HU30 HBCU Support Network π€πΎ
Starting over or changing your college plans unexpectedly can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to navigate it alone.
We’re building a community that connects displaced Howard University students with current HBCU students who are willing to answer questions, share their experiences, and offer guidance as you explore your next steps. Whether you’re looking for support or you’d like to serve as a mentor, we’d love for you to be part of this network.
On Friday, July 31, everyone who completes this form will receive an invitation to join an Instagram group chat where students can connect, ask questions, share resources, and support one another throughout this transition.
